An eventful Tuesday

Andrew and I had a Beach Reach like, experience this Tuesday.
I was sitting outside the laundry house and this girl asked to use my phone.. I let her. She was calling taxi services. They were all to expensive for her. She had gotten fired and was supposed to have been out of there. Andrew and I were going to go into town soon anyway, so I offered Jessica a ride. Well, an hour or so later we were taking her to a shelter here in Sandusky. Her home life in Michigan right now isn't the greatest and nobody was able to pick her up from Cedar Point. So it was us with her and all her stuff for a good 15 min. car ride to find this shelter. A humbling experience for both Andrew and me.
Pray for Jessica, as she is in a rough place in her life. Pray that she may remember us and try to seek out why we were so loving and different.

Three of Andrew's lifeguard friends from Ukraine came Tuesday night. They were really appreciative of the free food, and were very focused and interested in the lesson. Pray they are able to come again and that through these last few weeks they may really seek God.

Andrew is now officially a supervisor. This allows him to interact with his crew more. Pray that this new position allows him to deeper develop the relationships he has already formed.

I got to talk to Christina about baptism Tuesday night. Her dad was baptized in the spring, and she had questions. I got to explain baptism and found verses for her to look up. Pray that she continues to ask questions and that God continues to speak through me.

As we get closer to the end, work gets tougher and tougher. Pray that we have strength and energy to finish out these last weeks.
